The story is coming along and the outline for the first part I think is done. I just realized I don’t have any names or characters figured out… WTH, how am I done with it lol.
I just got the progression in there. I need to make some characters… Oh crap…
Well, I guess I’m not really done then lol. It’s coming along slow. Motivation is low… Spending too much time reading and working and not enough time writing. That is how it usually goes, though. When I finally finish reading all the new series and new volumes of the series that I keep track of, I write because there is nothing left to read.
I admit it’s not a very good habit. I should change that. It’s not like I don’t enjoy writing, I do. It’s freeing in a way that is hard to describe. I don’t like the outlining and stuff, but you have to outline. Either at the beginning or at the end.
There was a book I read “Writing Into The Dark“. It’s not a very in-depth book. Basically, it was you make your characters and put them in a situation and then you write. Going back every 200 words or so to edit. That method is much more my style. Except that style also gets nothing put out there or finished.
Thanks for listening to my rant.
