What about a story about I guy who gets warped/teleported from modern day to a futuristic universe where people live in space and they have space ships? Of course they have magic, but it would be some weird magic powered by nano-machines…
I know the isekai thing has been done to death, but it is just such lazy writing lol. I can describe everything with modern day vernacular and I don’t have to make up some reason the protagonist knows this haha. It also is a quick gimmick to pull a reader in.
“Oh, I’m a person… I live on that planet… They are sort of like me!”
Also, there is something with just modern day Joe escaping the 9 to 5 into some fantasy land. I swear we are all still kids at heart. It’s amazing how exploration engrained into us.
Regardless, I wrote up a page on the plot of such a story. Another crazy thing is that a single page of plot can transform into a 250 page story.
